Ground impedence project

Abstract

Acoustical ground impedance investigations were performed in support of atmospheric sound propagation measurements. These ground impedance data are presented together with deduced best-fit parameters suitable for input to propagation prediction programs. Range-dependent ground impedance characteristics were determined over grassland and over sand.
